FAQs

Where are you located?

We are located in the Jubilee Place Mall in Canary Wharf. You can see a map of our location within the mall here.

From Canary Wharf tube station:

Leave the station using the “Upper Bank Street” exit. Once you go outside, turn left. Walk towards the 35 Bank Street building (you will see Obica Mozzarella Bar inside). Once you are inside the building, take the escalator 1 level down. Walk inside the mall and you will see Awakn on your left hand side.

From Heron Quays tube station:

Leave the station and walk towards Heron Walk. Turn right and walk to 35 Bank Street. Once you are inside the building, take the escalator 1 level down. Walk inside the mall and you will see Awakn on your left hand side.

What time should I arrive for my class?

For first-timers, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your class starts so that we can check you in and and make sure that you are on time to complete your mandatory training induction prior to the class start.

Regulars, please arrive 10 mins before the class to provide for ample time to check-in and change into your workout clothes.

I have an injury/physical limitation. Can I still work out at Awakn?

Of course. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your session starts and inform your trainer: he or she will adjust your workout accordingly and make sure that you get the most out of your workout experience.

How do I sign up?

Firstly, create an account here. Then select the best class and package for your needs, and book the class!

Where can I put my things?

All of our changing rooms have plenty of lockers with in-built 4-digit code locks (so you can leave that padlock at home).

Do you have a water fountain?

We have a water fountain which you can use to fill up your water bottle. We also have many drinks available for purchase, including eco-friendly water bottles and freshly made protein shakes.

What drinks do you sell?

We have a great selection of protein shakes that taste incredible and are curated by a certified nutritionist to ensure that you get in a healthy dose of protein and nutrients that are vital for a post-workout recovery. You can order a shake before your class, so that it’s ready as soon as you finish.

What if I’m vegan / have allergies / gluten-free?

We have many options that are vegan, gluten-free and lactose free. If ordering one of our delicious shakes, one of our front desk will be happy to guide you through our menu.

Do I need to bring any equipment?

We provide boxing gloves for you to use during class, but you are welcome to bring and use your own pair. We also have Awakn gloves available for purchase. You will need to wear boxing wraps during the class too. If you do not have your own, you can purchase them at Awakn.

Everything else will be provided by Awakn.

Are there showers, and what amenities do you provide?

We have spacious showers and provide a range of amenities, including towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair styling appliances.

I’m running late, can I still join the class?

If you call the front desk at least 10 minutes before your class begins, we’ll hold your spot for 3 minutes after the session starts. After that, you won’t be allowed to attend. This way we ensure that our classes have as few disruptions as possible, so everyone gets a complete, uninterrupted workout.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major cards but no cash.
